Spam Part 1 - The Spam Mail Crisis

Anyone who has been on the net must have at some point in time been afflicted by the infamous problem of spam. For those of you who have been lucky enough not to have had any contact with it (virtually no one i presume) you can read more about it here.

Recently i was wondering what could be the best solution to spam. This lead me to thinking back to the days when i was plagued with spam and wondering what i was doing wrong.

FireFox Goes Universal with 1.5.0.2

Good news for all those who run OSX on Intel Macs, Firefox has finally issued a universal release of its browser. No more searching in nightly builds looking for that build that has been compiled with the latest XCode.

Though this is great news to all the Firefox Mac Users out there, its not the only good news. Firefox have also updated their browser with stability enhancements and with a number of bug fixes ( here ).

As always Mozilla didn’t fail to impress when earlier this week all of us running fairly recent versions of Mozilla received the automatic update and we all started benefiting from the new and improved browser.

Is Hive7 Ajax heaven?

Seems that Hive7 is making its way into quite a few articles recently. I would classify this site as being a fairly interesting attempt at creating an online community. So probably your wondering what is all the hype about and is it worth your bother?

Well first of all it’s free!! (which in this world means its a must to check it out), but jokes aside seriously its a great site. As soon as you load up the page you find that you have been issued an avatar and a guest account. With these you are also assigned the rights to post lines onto the chat and also to drag character around the rooms which are available to you. Whilst browsing through these room you will notice other avatar which might be jumping around the page, these pertain to the other users who are currently viewing the page with you and whom you may chat with.
